This book is both sexy and classy at the same time! There is nothing extremely graphic or lewd but it still conveys eroticism at a high level. Unexpectedly, it has a couple of famous models of this genre (like Katya Clover) and that was a pleasant surprise! There are no demeaning or degrading photos, just a celebration of beauty. I highly recommend this book!

Fehr takes on the delightful task of portraying a woman's earliest years of adulthood, much the way David Hamilton is so well known for. The beauty of that age seems to radiate in these images - always the young woman's native charm, but often hints or touches that suggest eroticism as well. The imagery tends toward the romantic, with soft clothes (when any) or sensual bathing. Other pictures, however, feature architectural decay, perhaps a memento mori, perhaps a contrast of harsh, hard decay against the model's curves and vigor.The isn't the deepest exploration of what figure photography can be. Still, it goes well beyond mere prettiness with its warm moods and hints at the potential in each model or pair. Certainly one to come back to - I just wish the back cover wasn't so close to the front.-- wiredweird

I'd never seen any works by Dani Fehr before I got this book, but I was very pleasantly surprised. There is a soft glow to match the sensual beauty of the models and their poses; it's very reminiscent of Marc Lagrange's influential work in erotic photography. I see a lot of original content, particularly in posing, lighting, and setting; that's fairly rare in modern erotic photography. The most surprising component of the pieces was the lighting -- I'd never seen such soft lighting for this type of photography -- usually erotic photographers like de Mulder, Rankin or James will utilize stark contrast in color or saturation to expose the sexiness of the models, but this goes for a much smoother approach where you can soak in the beauty instead of having the sensuality thrust at you. Overall, very quality, sexy work!Despite the excellent nature of the work itself, I had to give it only four stars because of the high price and small amount of content. Erotic photography books are typically expensive, but $57 (at time of writing) for 80 pages is nearly double or triple per-page price of many other capable photographers; the book size isn't stunningly large or impressive, either. Size is often important in erotic photography because of the presence it creates, and I don't feel that the size is living up to the talent of the photographer; that's a shame. I feel as though this photographer is going to be making waves in a few years, and I look forward to seeing more content and bigger collections in the future!I would purchase this if you're a big fan of erotic photography like myself, and would like to add to your collection. Otherwise, it seems too expensive for someone that just wants an introduction to this type of photography.

I feel so much more confident as an adjuster. I wish the book was longer and offered even more advice.

I appreciate that someone took the time to put thoughts to paper, but it is unfortunately not an organized presentation. No true industry info...just tips like "Don't use alcohol or drugs to cope with stress." Or "Don't associate yourself with the office complainers or you won't get promoted. " I read this through my Kindle Unlimited account so it's good that it was free - if I had paid money...even $1...I would be requesting a refund.

After a long wait, since last summer when it was announced that Damon was holding off releasing his newest book until early 2019. Well it is finally here and at first blush, I am delighted with the intent and scope of this book. And why I am giving it 5 Stars out of the gate. Less that 24 hours after buying it, it is too soon to report any results. I will adopt Damon's advice on pages 11/12 (Kindle), "expect nothing and allow everything" as my mindset mantra moving forward in this process.The steps were a bit like holding a greased pig in my brain and I made several mistakes with the activation ritual and finally got it right after the forth attempt and a good night's sleep. I finished all seven foundation rituals. Once you get the ritual process down to memory (I prefer not using a cheat sheet during the ritual), things flows along smoothly.Of the sigil rituals in part two of the book, I see only a half dozen out of the around fifty seven rituals that has direct application to my life and project goals at the moment. I will empower all half dozen in short order. Like tonight!For those new to Gallery Of Magick works, you may wonder if the rituals are in English? Nope. Damon explains that the group through experience has concluded that the rituals performed in Hebrew works better. Period. If I am accurate, for the hard core gotta know what the words recited in Hebrew means in English people, I believe Damon has put a translation glossary in the back. I will never look at it because I don't need to know what the words means in English. Just know that if you recite the words in English, you may be diluting the ritual's power and effect. Thankfully, he includes a phonetic spelling of words in each ritual. So pronouncing the words is much easier. Not perfect, easier and well enough for the angels not to care about the pronunciation of their names.Lastly, for those who purchased the print edition, this entitles you to get the Kindle version for free while you wait for the softcover edition to arrive.. But there is an about 12 - 16 hour lag time before the system allows you to get the Kindle version for free. So patience is a virtue.Now the adventure begins...UPDATE - Feb. 8thNot 48 hours after performing the Part 1 Rituals, some beneficial "coincidences" have started to happen.1. I gained free and legal access to a desired online course I attempted to gain access too, but failed twice to before. I "happened" to be in the right place at the right time.2. A doctor (PhD) of business strategic who I am enrolled into several of his courses, emailed me "out of the blue" to invite me to be on the advisory board of a premium course he will release to the public in a month. As an advisory member, I will get the course for free. He will sell it for $497.00. He has become popular due to the success with his effective courses on a certain teaching platform and will enroll many students. The subject matter happens to dovetail 98% with a project I am working on now.Nothing earth shattering yet. I take these two beneficial events as soft indications of more and better things to come. Thank you angels!

Two nights ago I felt compelled to "finish off" my Gallery of Magick collection by purchasing Zanna Blaise's Angels of Love and Damon's Magickal Seduction (never felt much of a need for these two titles, but I'm a completionist, you know?). Go figure, the next day this book drops and my collection needs updating again, lol. I would chalk that up to coincidence, except that several themes throughout the book line up with work I've been doing over the past few months. And while all GoM books are great, half of the sigils in Mystical Words of Power seem almost tailor-made to my situation. This book is pushing the synchronicities into almost creepy territory for me, haha!It definitely wasn't what I was expecting but was very much what I was needing...the seven core rituals from the first half of the book are meant to be done just for the sake of doing them. Are there benefits to doing them? Of course! But that ain't the point...the EXPERIENCE is. There isn't a lot I specifically want in life, other than to grow closer to Adonai, so this is a perfect course for me. I'm considering working each one of the seven on a different day according to planetary day and hour rulership, but Brand doesn't suggest anything so complicated, that's just my fetish for lily-gilding and temporal poetry.The second half of the book is loaded with specific sigils for a variety of occasions. All techniques are based on the same method that Brand used in Words of Power and Greater Words of Power. I've always been able to find something in a GoM book I can adapt to my life, but never before have there been so many sigils in one spot that hit at my deepest problems. All the magick in this book stems from the 42 letter name of our Lord (oh THAT must be why I've been obsessed with the Ana b'Koach for the past month, lol!), so all you pearl clutchers can take a deep breath and relax on this one...the magick is in the Torah.Great work once again, guys! I'm excited to see what else you have coming up before 2021 (sure hope you folks have found a way to stop Apocalypses), but I have a feeling that Mystical Words of Power is going to bed keeping me busy for a while!Cheers!

Like the other Gallery of Magick books this is quite practical. A book that is designed to be quickly put to use, even more so than some of the other books. You have the ability to start these rituals the first day you start reading them. I do have to say that there are too many mentions of, go see a professional or get medical attention, it distracts from the content and feels like the author is trying to protect himself from legal liability. I can understand this in today’s litigatious climate, but a single “warning” would have been enough at the onset of the book, rather than peppering it throughout the intro to each ritual.

I had read the GOM are only releasing a few more books so when I saw this gem I knew I had to snatch it up. Their books are life changing. It’s funny.. just yesterday I was very emotional and begging anyone that would listen to help me and give me a sign. And today I see this new book out for exactly what I needed help with. I guess I’m just very grateful to say the least.

I was reluctant to buy yet another GOM book but still I bought it and after reading it and trying just one ritual from part one, it turned to be a true gift from the heavens. What a nice surprise! Thank you Damon! You da man!

A marvelously well-presented, thoroughly researched book! And boy, was it difficult, scary, and sickening to read! Not because of Bartoletti, but because of the subject matter. If one wants to read horror stories, one need look no further than our own human history, at "man's inhumanity to man."* In her book They Called Themselves the K.K.K, Susan Campbell Bartoletti lets you know up front what you're in for. She says in part of her note to the reader at the front of the book: "Whenever possible, I have let the people of the past speak in their own voices. Some of these people use crude language. No matter how difficult it is to see the offensive words in print, I have made no attempt to censor these historical statements. You will see images from pictorial newspapers such as 'Harper's Weekly' and 'Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper' and other sources. These images depict people, events, and viewpoints of the time. Some of the depictions are caricatured and racially offensive. I deeply regret any offense or hurt caused by the images, but again I have chosen not to censor." I appreciate Bartoletti's bold, unflinching and compelling account of this era of history. She puts a terrifyingly human face on the subject of the K.K.K.'s terrorsim, by her liberal use of both the victims and the Klan members' first-person accounts (the Slave Narratives of the 1930's), diaries, historical journals, newspaper reports, etc. Also included are a multitude of photographs and newspaper images from the day. Bartoletti doesn't whitewash anything. She does an excellent job of explaining the many factors surrounding the beginnings of this group, things you won't find well-explained in school history books. This book had 4 contrived storylines each of which had abrupt, poorly constructed endings. It seemed Ike the author created a situation but couldn’t figure out how to proceed so he or she just ended it. In the alternative, the author was bored and didn’t really want to write but was contractually obligated so a poorly written book was produced. I have read every “Women’s Murder Club” books and have never been disappointed before and I usually post a review when I am extremely pleased. This is the first time I finished a book in 3 hours and thought it was so bad I had to write a review. It is your hope that the series continues but with a motivated author who can bring these characters back to life.

I was so excited for #17 but what a disappointment. I kept waiting for the story to start and then it ended. Not like the other Women’s Murder Club books. I’ll have to wait for reviews before I invest in #18.

It might be time to retire this series. There are two main issues I had with this book and honestly I ONLY finished it so that I could write an honest review. The first issue I had was that this is a series written for women and there were no less than a dozen gratuitous F-bombs. Why? It added nothing to the plot and honestly was offensive.Second, the series has become ridiculously formulaic. From the very beginning you know exactly what is going to happen. Maxine and Mr. Patterson have fallen into a predictible pattern for these books and it leaves you flat. In the beginning they tell you who the murderer is (no problem there), but you know immediately who the intended victim will be and of course you know the murderer will turn his anger on Lt. Boxer. No surprises, no suspense, and no drama is found in this book. Even the impending pregnancy was no surprise. When she takes the test the results and ultimate conclussion is easy to guess from the first suggestion of feeling woozy. *** SPOILER ***Okay, I do have a third complaint about this book. And they really missed the mark on this one. They had the perfect oppurtunity to stand up for victims rights and be a voice, but instead they choose to turn it around and make the victims into frauds. You know it is coming from the very beginning, but really would it have hurt them to maybe make Art the bad guy in all of this? He could have been behind the scenes coercing the two gentlemen into the false claims. He had the history and a reason to want to bring a case to the public view. Instead their choosing to make the men into liars really is just another black stain on standing up for men that have been victimized. It just adds to the stereotype of this crime being humorous. I was very disappointed in the direction they chose to go with this storyline, but in the end you knew they would.Save your money. (I have to wonder with all the 5 star ratings being one liners if they are true reviews or paid for)

I love the Women’s Murder Club books, however this one disappoints. I really have to wonder how much James Patterson actually writes for some of these books or is just lending his name. This book fell flat. At no time did you ever read about Cindy and Richie’s relationship. Without giving away too much, the ending was very disappointing. No author can possibly put out the amount of books that his name is on, but I did think this series was one of the few that he actually authored or contributed to.

Formularic Uninteresting. Waste of time

This was an unusual case, and held my interest. The members of the Murder Club, while present in the book, took a backseat to Lindsey (a homicide cop in San Francisco), and Yuki (a lawyer returning to the District attorney's office). There was not the normal interaction of all characters over a period of time, which, for me, has heightened the tension in the story. However, the book is well-written, and held my interest for a nightly read over a few days.

When I began reading Lindsey Boxer stories 17 years ago they were mainly about Boxer with the members of the Women's Murder Club providing the backstory. This book puts Yuki Castellano front and center with a most unusual trial where she is the prosecuting ADA. Library's story, while interesting, is the backstory of this book.The kicker though is the cliffhanger that puts Lindsey front and center again. Or does it?

Very upset that the type was so small, that I could not read the questions and answers without using a magnifying glass! C'mon, there is no reason to use 0 point type. Don't waste your hard-earned money on the paperback. Instead order the Kindle version.

Excellent book but a bit over my head as a PA practicing for 28 years but new to Psych. Stahl is the best though and I highly recommend his books.

This is an awesome book. Stahl has done a phenomenal work that makes critical thinking easy. The information is very current and relevant to any practitioner.

Curtis has two anthologies, one more recent than the other, intended to answer the objections that the first was too centered on the Judeo-Christian tradition(s). I can't recall as I write my review which was which (the other is called "Faith: Stories")--but together they make a good pair for anyone who wants to read and think about the relationship between the human and the divine. I also recommend supplementing them with a third anthology, _A Celestial Omnibus: Short Fiction on Faith_, which is more diverse still.

This is a collection of stories from well known authors. The editor of this collection is providing the reader the opportunity to determine how each author may be using the characters' to present scenarios of goodness/evil.

Book in excellent condition.Thank you.

The stories I have read in this book so far are very different than I thought they would be. I must say they are very intriguing and I enjoy the short story versions.

Good summertime Sunday school reading--brief, well written stories.

I did not connections to God in many of these stories, nor did a few of them make any sense. I did not really care for this collection.

We are using the book in a Bib-Lit Reading Group. We have used several collections - and the short stories in this book are outstanding and thought provoking. Thank you.
