The book is too short but otherwise the graphics tell the story. (We always want more -- AFA history, there's no end to the story) It's very colorful and tells the story of the Minoans, a lost civilization which predated the Greeks and evidently were very influential across the Mediterranean of their day until they "disappeared" around 1400BC from the perspective of the Greek myth of Athenian hero Theseus and his quest to kill the Minotaur.The Minotaur's labyrinth refers to the Greek myth telling of King Midas who demanded youth be given every year for Crete and its ceremonies, and the Greek hero who decided to become one of these youth and kill the Minotaur and end the annual campaigns.
