Amazing book for my TEEN. This book was really wonderful for my 15-year-old daughter. It is very difficult for me to pick things out for my teen, but I had a hunch about this book and she absolutely loved it. She is using it to deal with moments of anxiety, which is very common in today's teenagers. This book gives her exercises and allows her to really participate in managing her stress levels. Thanks so much for a well done book!
I originally bought this book as a home resource, but I'm finding it very useful in my work as a clinician. It's an easy, quick reference to use with clients in session. I'll be using this as one of my go-to references in both my personal & work life. Excellent!

I received this book about a month before my dad passed away. Most of my life I have struggled with anxiety. Then in my late teens I began to experienced bouts of depression. My mother suffered (still does) and my mother’s mother suffered for years until she passed away from cancer. When I began to see my sweet little girl show signs of anxiety and depression, I immediately started talking to her about it....We decided on Therapy. So this summer we received this book as a gift and I am overjoyed that we did. It has been so helpful in our day to day. My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer on September 12th and we put the book aside for a while once he started to get very sick. We lost him a short four weeks later on October 12th. After a few weeks of mourning my dad, my children..mourning their papa, I remembered this book! We have been using it in our daily needs. Trying to find balance of mind and body while working on our emotional pain. Thank you Aubre Andrus for your book that recognizes the need to take ourselves seriously when we are suffering or dealing with emotions we sometimes do not even understand. Great book! Great Author!
