Interesting reading, take-away is that old studio-run Hollywood was one large brothel with not a lot of likable inhabitants. Many grammar & spelling mistakes, perhaps the Kindle reader doesn't transfer accurately? Jarring to a picky bibliophilic etymologist who cringes at grammatical errors, left me wondering "where are the editors?"
I would be lying if I wrote that I didn’t enjoy reading this book. However, I think all those stars and characters from long ago in Hollywood would be turning in their graves if they knew what is being written about them. Even Hollywood must surely have had some characters who had a moral compass, according to this book it did not exist and the accused can't defend themselves.
If you've read Hollywood Warts and All volume 1 and 2 DO NOT waste your money on this book!!! It's the same thing repeated just in a different format. The spelling errors are annoying!!! Very disappointing
It's a fun little thing - but Lots of mistakes of which I am aware, so, who knows how much of the rest of it is correct :(
I just love Hollywood gossip!
No new information about about this fascinating couple but light, escape reading while killing time while you have to wait.
